Bain-marie
- Place the wax without the lid in a saucepan with water.
- Heat in a bain-marie.
- Stir occasionally until you get a liquid texture without lumps.
In the microwave
- Place the wax without the lid in the microwave.
- Heat for 1–2 minutes. Low-power ovens may require 3–5 minutes.
- Stir occasionally between each round.
- Do not heat for more than 3 continuous minutes.
Instructions for use
- Melt the wax, paying attention to the temperature and heating time.
- Mix the wax with a spatula while heating.
- Take a small amount and apply it in the direction of hair growth, forming a thick, even layer.
- Press a cloth or paper strip onto the wax in the direction of hair growth.
- Hold the skin around the area firmly and pull the strip off quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth, keeping it as close to the skin as possible.
- After waxing, apply a lotion to help soothe the skin.
Tip: Before applying the wax to a large area, perform a patch test on a small area to ensure you do not have an allergic reaction.
